An old farmer had four sons.they used to quarrel with one another.he became much worried about the future of his sons.one day the farmer called his four sons to bring some sticks and tie them in a bundle.he ordered his eldest son to break the boundle.he tried his best but could not.he told other sons to break the bundle.they tried one after anothe.but nobody could break it.then the old man united the bundle.he gave everyone a stick to break.at that time each of the sons broke the stick very easily.now the old man told his sons, " my dear sons,remember that unity is strength.if you are United , nobody can harm you.so,live together ".now the sons could understand the importance of unity and did not quarrel any more.

One day in the evening two friends were passing through a jungle.they were very intimate friends.there lived many wild beasts in the jungle.after walking for sometimes they saw a bear coming towards them.they got frightened.they could not think what they should do ?.One friend could climb up tree.he fell in danger.the bear came very close to him.finding no way he laid down on the ground as a dead man.he knew that bear does not touch a dead body !!!.the bear came to the man and smelt the body of the man.he thought that the man is dead.he went away leaving the man.the friend came down from the tree.he asked him what the bear whispered into your ear.the man replied that the bear told me,"don't make friendship with the man who climbs up tree leaving his friend in danger".

Once there lived a hare and a tortoise in a certain place.the hare was proud of his swift speed and he used to tease the tortois for his slow space.but one day the tortoise said with a smile,"well,let us run a race."the hare laughed and said, "let us fix a date for the race." at last they agreed and fixed a date.On the fixed date,they came to the starting point .the fox was present as the judge of their race.the race began.the hare started running very fast .after a while he looking behind and saw that the tortoise was far behind.so,he decided to take rest and went to sleep in a bush.but the torroise walked on and on.he passed by the sleeping hare silently.a few hours passed.the hare wokeup and saw that the tortoise had already reached the winning point.thus the hare lost the race and went away saying that " slow and steady wins the race"

Once there lived two cats in a house.one day they stole a piece of bread from their neighboring house.each of the cats wanted the large part.they failed to divided it.they went to a monkey was very clever.he divided the bread into two pieces.but the bread was not equally divided.one piece was large than the other.the monkey took some portion from the larger part.at last there was only a very small part.now the cats could understand the trick of the monkey.so,they told the monkey to return only that small piece of bread.but the monkey claimed it as his charge. two cats and a monkey .....
